O.K., so a couple of posts back...I was talking about the snow and mentioned the kids in the bubble bath. So I completely forgot to go back and post the pics of the "famous" bubble bath TJ made the kids. Our way of "coercing" the kids back inside from playing in the snow was to tell them they could have a bubble bath. TJ started the tub while I took wet snow clothes and put them in the dryer...Within minutes I hear TJ yell "Hey hon, you gotta bring the camera!"...When I got to the bathroom this is what I found. Not sure why we haven't figured this one before now, but apparently you can't put Bubble bath in the water and then turn the jets on...because this is what happens! Bubbles everywhere!!!! Of course the kids thought it was great...they keep asking Daddy to do their bubble baths every night, ha! In case you can't recognize...the above picture is Parker (the snot coming out of her nose is lovely isn't it?)
Trey having some bubble fun....
Sweet Jack wondering what in the heck is going on......we had to keep an eye on him, he would just disappear in the bubbles.
This picture of Parker says it all. Snow day + Bubbles= very very fun!

Daddy/Daughter Dance
The city of Auburn hostest its 23rd Annual Daddy/Daughter Dance. They always do it the weekend of Valentines and its turned into quite a big deal. This was our first year to participate (by our I mean TJ and Parker). Everyone gets all dressed up...girls in their party dresses and Daddies in their suits. TJ bought Parker a corsage for her wrist and everything....Parker thought she was sooo special having her date night with her Daddy...She enjoyed the getting ready process (such a girl she is) and even let me put a little makeup on her ( chapstick mostly). The above picture is her getting ready....
Daddy put the corsage on her wrist and she thought it smelled sooo good...
I am so glad both TJ and Parker had such a great time. TJ said she was a little shy when the first got there...the music was pretty loud, but once she saw all of the other girls dancing it didn't take her long to join in. TJ said she was quite the little dancer. I really enjoyed seeing them together and really wish I could have been a fly on the wall at the dance....I hope this is a start of a Valentines tradition....just think of all the fun pictures and memories they will have!

Snow Day
We had our first snow in Auburn since we moved in and it was absolutely beautiful! All of my kids loved the snow, even little Jack. Trey couldn't wait to get out and throw snowballs with our neighbor, Carter and Courtney. TJ even cancelled all of his patients and enjoyed spending the day at home playing in the snow. We could only manage an hour at a time outside, the kids are not "well-equipped" for snow in the clothes department so after about an hour their hands started to turn blue. We would bring them inside and put them in my bathtub and turn the jets on....hog heaven! (that bathtub post will be coming next....)
Cowboy Roundup
Trey and I had a "double-date" with Michele and Will last Saturday night. Storybook Farms hosted its 1st annual Cowboy Roundup....which gives moms and "their little cowboy" a chance to have a "date" for Valentines Day..I took Trey and he and will had a blast! They loved getting to see, pet and feed the horses, they painted a horseshoe, went to the bonfire and had hot chocolate. It was a special night and hopefully I can take both my cowboys next year. I thought Jack was a little too young this year to be out in the barn considering it was about 30 degrees that night, brrrr.
Pudding Anyone???
Mr. Independent insists on feeding himself....so I figure, "hey, I'm used to cleaning up messes anyway, so why not?"...his favorites right now are pudding and yogurt...really, anything that requires a spoon to eat.

Happy Birthday Doc
To explain.....Doc and Granna came down the last weekend in January, so we decided to make Doc a cake for his birthday. Trey suggested we go to Shakeys for lunch (like chuck-e-cheese) and then back here for cake/ice cream. I asked Trey how he thought we should decorate Doc's Cake....he suggested army men, cars, star wars...then I reminded them that was his favorite things not Doc's...what was Doc's favorite things? Trey says," that's easy, we need to be on Doc's cake, because WE are his favorite things"...how cute is that? So naturally I figured out a way to put Trey, Parker and Jack on Doc's birthday cake...Happy Birthday Doc!
and it Starts.....
Well the climbing as "officially" started....I really thought I may have a few more months before he decided to climb on top of everything. Now its the couches, the kitchen table, the beds, etc....he decided to climb up in Parkers booster chair and start playing play-do...he does pretty good, doesn't try to eat it or anything...
I was looking for him one morning and he was sitting inside of the diaper basket...it took some talent getting in that little basket without tumping it over.

January Randoms
The boys ready to go to church in the new peacoats that Granna and Doc gave them.
Parker ready to go to the pediatric dentist...
Like every brother and sister they have their "ups" and "downs"....but they tend to have more "ups" these days. They really enjoy playing together....most of the time, ha! Thought this picture was cute.
