"Mom Inventions"

As I heard a friend once say "Necessity is the mother of invention".... As you can tell, Parker was outgrowing the kitchen sink (and was getting the entire kitchen soaked at each bath), so taking the advice from my good friend Julie, she's now getting in the big bathtub....in a laundry basket...It's wonderful! She sits in the basket, her toys can't float away, she can't fall over...and she's somewhat protected from Trey's wild bathtub behavior! Julie...maybe we should patent this?

Orange Beach April 2008

Well me and the kids tagged along to Orange Beach for a few days with my parents. This was actually Parker's 2nd trip to the beach, but technically her 1st time to actually see the beach. She was so cute (and chubby) in her bathing suit and never once tried to eat the sand. Trey, as always, loved the beach and the indoor pool....He actually cried when we left to come home. They, like their mother, love the beach!

Trey kept filling Parker's "water" bucket with sand and he thought it was hilarious (as you can tell by his laughing).....Parker's was really confused by how this "sand" stuff kept getting in her water bucket!(as you can tell by her so serious face)

Easter Pictures

It was Parker's first Easter and she looked so cute in her Easter Dress, which actually matched her Easter basket (was not planned, seriously!) She loved taking everything in and out of her basket (and Trey's)

Trey was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming to our house.....he was on a sugar high ALL day! (his poor Sunday School teachers, ha,ha)

We had our ultrasound today and found out that Fuqua baby number 3 is a BOY!!
We are so excited, especially Trey....he's been saying all along that he needs a "brother" because he already has a "girl"...He,He!
Everything on the ultrasound look great....the Lord has blessed in many, many ways!!
Now to start picking out names!

Yes, she's sitting up very well on her own now...Two bottom teeth are fully in...but as you can tell by the drool on her shirt, there are more teeth coming in very quickly. She's like a leaky faucet!

Parker 6 months Pictures.

Parker is now 6 months old! Sometimes if feels like you can just watch them growing and changing by the second....She did good at her doctors visit..She weighs 18 pounds (75%) and is 27 inches long (90%). It's funny, I looked at Treys numbers at 6 months old and he and Parker are exactly the same! Not to mention that the older she gets the more and more she looks like Trey. She's doing all sorts of new things now. She's sitting up on her own and even trying to crawl. She gets on all fours and rocks back and forth and "lunges forward" until she gets what she wants! usually that is Trey's toys! These past 6 months have gone by so fast, so I can't help but think that the next 6 months are going to go by just as fast, then I'll be typing about her first birthday! So scary!

Ready for Church...

This was one of those rare Sunday mornings where we were running ahead of schedule....We even had enough time to pose for a quick picture....Usually we are rushing out the door at the last second! Trey cracks me up in this picture...No, his sweater is not too short, it's the way he's standing, but between the sweater and his Spider man undies, he's cracking me up!

Busted....

Yes, Parker is busted escaping her bouncy seat...Yes, I was really hoping that the bouncy seat would last just a wee bit longer ( another source of confinement) However, Parker has already figured out how to escape! She pulls to a sitting position and bails out the side...quite hilarious to watch! She's becoming quite mobile...Not yet crawling, but can get anything she wants wherever it is....she squirms, and rolls, and pulls herself with her forearms until she gets it (usually Trey's toys). Also, my prayers have been answered.......She's finally sleeping through most of the night. For the past week she's been sleeping 7 hour stretches (Hallelujah!) compared to her usual wake up every 45 minutes.....Yeah Sleep!

Happy Valentines Day

Trey could absolutely not wait until his Daddy got home so he could open his Valentines Surprise! This is definitely one of Trey's favorite holidays because of all the CANDY! (as you can see in some of the pictures below). Parker on the other hand enjoyed her first Valentines day, but really didn't have a clue what was going on!

Trey thoroughly enjoyed ALL of his candy, especially the FUN DIP! He gave up on the little white stick and started using his fingers! I have tried washing his hands 2 times and he still has green fingers! I just hope it wears off before church on Sunday! Happy Valentines day everybody!

Parker's Dedication

Parker's Baby dedication at church was this past Sunday (Feb.10th). I know the pictures didn't turn out too great ( alittle blurry), but it was a very special day! She wore a dress TJ's Aunt Cynthia had made and it was beautiful! Of course I got a big lump in my throat the minute we stepped on stage, but Trey quickly dissolved it with his loud crying in front of the whole congregation! All we could do was laugh....I guess getting on stage is not his cup of tea!

WE ARE PREGNANT.....YES, AGAIN!

O.K., For everyone who doesn't already know, we are unexpectantly expecting our 3rd child. God has given us a "little surprise". Actually, 3 children were the ultimate plan, we just didn't think they would be this close together! Yikes! I went to the Dr. last week and I am already 10 weeks along...another shocker! Looking on the bright side, I am almost out of the first trimester! Anyway, that puts my due date August 24th (yes before Parkers first birthday), but they'll actually do another c-section around the 2nd week in August. So the Fuqua house will be a little crazy to say the least. Hope you guys enjoy the blog updates while they last, because I'm sure that blogging will fall way down on the priority list once I've got 3 kids under 3 years old!!
