Circus Day
Trey's school had a "Circus"themed day and all the kids were to come dressed as clowns....Well, we already had a nose and the clown hair, and I just "homemade" a clown shirt. He had fun but wasn't crazy about getting his picture made.....then of course Parker thinks she is as big as Trey and insisted on wearing the costume too! The nose was as big as her face, it was hilarious!
Laundry Helper?
Parkers idea of "helping" me with the laundry is putting every item I've already folded somewhere on her body. In this instance she managed to actually get her daddy's shirt over her head the right way. Then she thought she was funny and insisted on wearing it for half the day!
Jack-Five Months Old
Well, the 15th of every month I take his picture....and it's amazing how much difference just a month makes! Here's my baby at 5 months old! He continues to be laid back (most of the time) and such a joy to be around.

The First of Many.....
Well, TJ and I got called away from our "romantic getaway" at Ross Bridge to see about Trey's eye. He ran into the corner of the table while staying at my parents house (an hour away) and split his eye open. They felt it probably needed stitches, but wanted TJ to check just in case. Well, we knew there was no way Trey was going to let TJ stitch up his eye at home, sooo Dr. Daddy just put some dermabond on it. He did VERY good during the whole process. I am sure this it the first of many major "boo-boo's"....actually, I am shocked that it took him 4 years to get his first!
Christmas Morning
Well, Santa was really good to all of us this year. I have to admit that I think its so fun and exciting to see Christmas through your kids eyes. It's like being a kid all over again myself....For their "big present"...Trey got a "big boy bike", Parker got a Dora ride on Toy, and Jack got an exersaucer....Then of course there were a gazillion other gifts as well...It took us what seemed like forever to open all of the gifts Christmas morning, because everything they opened, they wanted to play with immediately.....Please notice in the bottom collage, TJ riding Trey's bike....too funny!
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve we spend with the Gregory's (TJ's mom's side of the family)...All we had to do was walk next door to Granna and Doc's......which is soooo nice. We finished off the night by "dancing with the huge Santa" and watching A Christmas Story....which prompted Trey to ask a gazillion questions like, "why did that guys tongue get stuck to the pole" and "why does everyone keep telling him he'll shoot his eye out?" and "why is fudge a bad word?".....oh, inquisitive little minds....gotta love it!
Pigeon Forge...more Christmas...
We celebrated Christmas with my Dad's side of the family in Pigeon Forge a few days before Christmas. I have never been there this time of year and it was beautiful....the kids (and myself) got so excited about the "big mountains" and all the Christmas lights/decorations that were out. We rode the Alpine slide, the chair lift, and we even went out to Cade's Cove to see the deer and turkey....Trey kept yelling "they are staring at me, they are staring at me!"...but probably our favorite part was the Dixie Stampede, we had front row seats for the show and got to eat with our hands (which Trey thought was "awesome").
"Hide and Seek"
Trey's new favorite game is "hide and seek"....of course whatever Trey is doing, Parker thinks she's big enough to do too. Here they are hiding in the book shelf in the den.....this picture cracks me up...
1st bite of Cereal
Well....Jack went to his 4 month check up on Dec. 15th....he was in the 75 % for both height and weight, and got 4 shots...which he promptly starting screaming to the top of his lungs the second the first shot hit. I felt so sorry for him, but there was nothing I could do...I'm sure all moms understand that go through this with their kids....I keep telling TJ that one day I am going to make him go to the dr. appointments....sit in the waiting room (trying to entertain the baby/toddler)...and then wait some more in the patient room (continuing to try and entertain the baby/toddler...only they are naked this time)....and then "trying" to hold an "intelligeble" conversation with the pediatrician while the baby/toddler is either screaming/crying/running around the room....only to end the appointment by holding your baby/toddler's shoulders/arms down while the nurse gives them shots....not at all a pleasant experience....seriously, I must make TJ do this at least once.
Anyway, here's Jack trying his first bite of cereal...he wasn't really sure what to do with it once he got in his mouth...he just kept spitting it back out.....
Christmas with Parkers
We went to the Lake the Sunday before Christmas to celebrate with Jake and Michele and families....Our big present from Mom and Dad this year (as a family) was the Wii...and Rock Band...We had fun playing, even Parker got into the "singing" part...

Fire Department Christmas Dinner
Jack really was enthusiastic about seeing Santa....again....We had a great time at the Fire Dept. Christmas Dinner.....We have been doing these for oh so long now....we just hated to miss our possible last one! (Dad may be retiring this year).
Parker says, "Cheeeeeeese"....Seriously, what is it that draws toddlers to stairs?
Parker laughing at Trey saying , "Cheese".....
Parker, Trey and Cousin Will.......

2nd Annual Tacky Christmas Clothes Party!
The 2nd annual tacky christmas clothes party was a success. Everyone managed to dig out some tacky Christmas attire ( I think most people dug from their parents closets!)....I do have say that I think Jarrett may have won.....AGAIN!....Yes, TJ has on scrubs instead of Christmas clothes, but he did have good intentions.....sometimes the hospital calls, Ha!
The Men and kids pose for pic....Hass, TJ (with Jack), Jarrett (with Jacey), Tony (with Tyler) and Neil (with Trey).....Aren't you proud guys, I didn't cut your head off!
Now its the womens turn....Yes, I had to come out of my festive sweater due to the "sweats" I had....it seems these "post-pregnancy" hormones seem to hang around a little longer than I remembered.
Santa even came to visit the kids and bring presents! This was the 1st time that Parker hadn't cried at Santa!

Quick Pose...
The kids cooperated for a quick picture in their "christmas clothes"....on the way out the door to church. I negotiated Trey putting his arm around Parker, but there was no way I was going to be successful in getting him to drop the sippy cup. Sometimes its best to pick your battles....
Iron Bowl
No, the Iron Bowl didn't exactly turn out in our favor this year, but it's not like we weren't expecting it....However, we still managed to have fun with the Walkers and the Carpri's!
Doc and Granna stopped over at Halftime for a quick Kiss.....from the kids, not us....
Jack...relaxed as usual!

Thanksgiving 08
Here's some pics from Thanksgiving with the Fuqua Family. We went to Aunt Susie's house...all the way out inAlabaseter, Ha! No, we didn't have to travel far! Anyway, the top picture is Me, TJ and kids with Aly, Granna, and Doc. The last time we took this picture was 3 years ago....what a difference 3 years makes....we grew by 2 more people! All day long we were trying to CONVINCE Trey to smile in any picture we took, which was not fun...and then in the last picture he was ALL smiles because it was Nolan and Tyler in the picture.....he just loves his older cousins! or second cousins, whatever! Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!
Trey and Jack
Trey and Jack hanging out one random morning. Trey usually tunes out both Jack and Parker for most of the day....he is content to play with his toys, and EVERY now and then he'll ask to hold Jack, like he did in this photo.....he usually sneaks in the "jack hugs" and Jack kisses" when he doesn't know anyone is looking....I had to take advantage of the moment.
