Oh Boy.....

I'm sure when TJ sees these pictures he's going to flip out, ha! But the joys of having a sister is that you get to play with her stuff too. All 3 kids were playing in Parkers room, and obviously they got into her dress up drawer. I came upstairs to put away laundry and this is what I found. Jack really thought he looked so good....and to think that he held still enough to let her put all this on him is beyond crazy....when I try to dress him its like wrestling a wild boar. Trey thought he was just hilarious in his outfit too....he kept walking around in the heels and laughing...oh boy! Surely they make "dress up" clothes for boys too, like pirates, cowboys, etc....gotta be on the lookout for those!

Random...

O.K., I know this is random, but if I don't blog things as they happen..then sometimes I forget.....Anyway, I am sitting upstairs at the computer updating pictures and posting to our blog. Jack and Parker are playing with building blocks and TJ and Trey are playing the Wii....Trey suddenly announces "I have to go pee", presses pause on the Wii and runs to the bathroom. 5 seconds later he appears back at the door with his pants still around his ankles....and starts singing, "Looking like a fool with my pants on the ground".......Oh, the comic timing of a 5 year old..TJ and I both cracked up...and to think we heard that song once about 2 weeks on American Idol...oh, they retain more than you know! Ha, Ha! I love those little laugh out loud moments our children give us.

Bring on the Boots

I would have to say that Parkers favortie clothing items received this Christmas were her boots from Aunt Aly. She insists on wearing them with everything! And I have to admit that she does a pretty good job of walking in them....these boots were made for walking....ha, hilarious aren't I? just sleep deprived I think........

Christmas with Granna, Doc, and Aly

Doc, Granna, and Aly drove to our house on Christmas Day...we ate lunch and then tore into all the presents they brought along! Parker insisted on trying on her ladybug raincoat, boots, and umbrella (yes, I know its bad luck to open an umbrella indoors...oh well)...Now she can't for a rainy day to get to wear it again!

Doc picked this outfit out for Parker from Pampolino's. she thought it was just beautiful (I think it had something to do with the 3 inches of fake fur around the collar). Its always fun to buy Parker clothes...you always get a reaction of genuine excitement from her...unlike most 2 year olds she really enjoys getting clothes...and trying them on...and modeling them for you...and she really likes you to tell her how "beautiful" she is....Oh Mercy!!
I love how she's looking at Alyson in this picture.....almost like she's thinking, "your pretty cool"

Christmas Morning....Santa Came!!

Yes, Christmas is my FAVORTIE holiday...and I, like the kids, had a hard time getting to sleep Christmas Eve. We left milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Before the kids went to bed we went out in the front yard to sprinkle the "magic reindeer dust" they made at school. This dust ( dry oatmeal and glitter) is supposed to help the reindeer find their way to our house. Well, it was pouring rain Christmas Eve, so the reindeer dust only made it as far as our front porch. Once the rain hit the oatmeal, it made a nice sticky mess....but our neighbors cat seemed to enjoy it! Trey and Parker were up first, but we made them wait in their rooms til Jack got up....after waiting what seemed like forever, we finally went in and woke him up! It was so fun seeing their reactions to everything, they were precious! Trey big gift for Christmas was a Wii...Parkers was a play kitchen....and Jack's was a train table (which he likes to sit on top of)....Santa was very good to us this year....but beyond the gifts....God has blessed us with 3 beautiful, healthy children...and that's the best gift of all!

Awwww..Sweet Puppies

2 days before Christmas, Granna and Doc's Dog, Jackson, had a litter of boxer puppies...So when we went to Bham for Christmas Eve the kids went CRAZY over the puppies.. We warned them in the car to "Be Easy", "dont squeeze them", etc...and low and behold, they listened to us! They were so gentle and caring with the puppies, they couldn't get enough! We had to FORCE Parker out of the bathroom so they could eat...they are so precious!

December Collages

Yes, the month of December was a whirlwind....but a fun whirlwind! Above I am attempting to make a picture for our Christmas Card....that was fun...never did get on of all 3 children looking at the camera and someone not crying or making a crazy face, or an "extra big" smile...so I just settled with some individual shots for the cards this year, but made lots of memories trying.
Here we are at the Bass Pro Shop waiting to see Santa (which we never did because the line was 100 people long and we figured the only one of ours who would actually sit in Santa's lap and not throw a screaming terror fit was Trey, who promptly told me that he didn't need to see Santa, he would just write him a letter)..So, we just settled on getting a few pictures in front of the Christmas tree. Also one of the pictures above is of Parker in her new "hat" phase...she loves all sorts of hats and wears a variety them around the house all day....
These are random December pics around the house....I included the "redecorating" of the Christmas tree that the kids did. Look closely to see the non-ornament things that do not belong on a Christmas tree (hint: toilet paper, toilet paper roll, shoe, bowl, dragon, dinosaur,etc..) but they had fun so I didn't change it.
Parker taking advantage of "helping" me cook banana pudding...she loved getting to "clean" the bowl....and yes, she has no clothes on, keeping clothes on her these days is rather difficult, but at least she didn't getting sticky banana pudidng on anything, :)
